Thank Funk It's Friday (free) 03:48
Thank Funk It's Friday Why is it that I always wake up late, (and) How come I always seem to hesitate, Now surely there is something left to live for. Why is it that I never make up my mind? (and) How come I'm always running out of time? I don't think I can take this shit no more. I'm free wheelin' gotta give myself a chance, Love's spinnin' gotta keep up that romance, For the two of us to love eternally. Times rushin' gotta world of things to say, One look from you, I know everything's okay, Just sit back and let this love set us free. Thank funk it's Friday, on my mind, Thank funk it's Friday, all the time. (X 2) I try my hardest just to get on with my life, Putting up with all the trouble and the strife, Anymore of this and I will lose my mind. I need some pleasure just to lighten up my day, Once in a while just have everything my way, Just keep on looking forward to that time. One day in seven just to get on with my groove, Have my time to get on down and move, A drop of water, in the sea of modern life. Friday comes in time to cause some light relief, From all the bitterness, the hunger, and the grief, Altogether on a Friday night.

And When I Lay Down My Head What I want is what I need, I'm gonna go and get it, No matter how hard it is to do for me. I'm turning round, not backing down, I won't give in, I'm here for the ride, might as well get used to it. And when I lay down my head, I question my dignity, And when my eyes are getting red, I wonder if I can see. Now and then I seem to think, It's all above me, It's what I love, what I do, need to get into it. I love my pain, I love my job, I love my girlfriend, She's all I got that doesn't try and go and leave me. This is it, the break has come, don't mess it up now, The lion's biting at my heals and I don't like it. I'm nearly there, one more line and I'm through, I knew I could do it, just tryin' to trick you.

Probably Not (free) 04:43
Probably Not Walkin' down the street tonight, I see a bright, unusual light, That's flyin' round and round in circles. It's up, down, spinning round, Playin' dot-to-dot from sky to ground. It maybe angels, It may be God, It might be a shooting star, It's probably not. Through the trees I see it flyin', Wonderin' on whom it's spyin', It's coming on down my way, It's on, off, there is no sound, Behind me now I turn around. Can't believe how bright it glows, Wonder what the radar shows, Bet they say it's only earth-lights. Don't believe a word they say, Can't explain it all away.

Don't Forget To Look At The Sky When you find that you're in a little fix, Don't question why it is that everything's five and six. Don't go around with your head to the floor, Keep your chin up high, reach the sky, you'll see a lot more. When you're feeling pretty down and headless, You wonder why? You've lost your way, and everything's just senseless. Forget about your troubles and your woes, ain't nobody here but friends, we'll take away your foes. Take a breath, have a sigh, But don't forget to look at the sky, Keep your head, and don't cry, But don't forget to look at the sky. Getting up in the morning's crazy, I feel snowed under, or just plain lazy. Time waits for no man, woman or God, Do I have a break or do some work, I can't tell what I should Do anymore, I feel so tired, I might as well be Al Capone, only my best friend's wired. I'm sweating bricks and I just can't click my fingers anymore, they're just too damn quick. When I've taken the time I'm due, To look up at the stars and see pieces of you, Smiling back at me with wise words to say, This time-out or break has made my day. Gonna let it all just hang out, Cos' problems mean shit when we've got our wars, You realise how small and pointless, These hectic days and hectic ways, make us so hepped up. Take a minute just to see what it is, And I can't go wrong when I think about this. Things in your world seem like a big lie so, Hear what I say and look at the sky. Just take five, Close your eyes, But don't forget to look at the sky, Smell the air, don't ask why, But don't forget to look at the sky.

Broken Bridge (free) 06:48
Broken Bridge Walking in and out of town, I see another face I think I know, Talk a while until we're down, Turn around I think I better go. Now you think you've got it all, But your 'petit' crimes won't get you very far. A no-hope job at the Golden Ball, Just so you can fix up your new car. I'm looking back across this broken bridge to where I've come from, And all I see is that there is a place that I have known, I feel like I've been kept inside these walls, I know it's too long, And when I look across this bridge, I know that this is my home. I can make it through the castle walls, They stretch beyond how far the eye can see. I lost my way, but as long as duty calls, I'll make the grade and know that I am free. This is my home.
